We recently concluded our unique and thrilling Highland Challenger, a week-long event that took place from June 1st to June 8th.
We had three perfect days out of the eight. This year, all the good days were triangle days except for two beach trip days, which were too windy for me.

We had some excellent pilots, and there were ten pilots in total.
As a side note, I was only 14 kilometers from reaching the goal circle on one task but had to land at the last waypoint, our old stamping ground, Highland Aero Sport in Ridgely. I am quite certain no hang glider pilots have landed there in nine years.
I want to thank Myles Airport for letting us access his airport, hanger, and B&B house.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to Charles Allen and Jim Messina, as well as all the top pilots, dragonfly pilots, and drivers who played a crucial role in making the Highland Challenger a success.
