Great day @ WS.
John M (S3), Rick H (S3), Ward (S3), Gary (U2), Bari (Malibu), & Joe (PG).

The weather was good, wind Direction not bad, thermals all over, good lift.

We all had good take-off &s flights.

Landings were problematic: crosswinds & very active.

Bari & Gary had outstanding landings.
I am so jealous of them.

John broke downtube.
Rick landed very close to the fence.
I used my pneumatic wheels: they save my landing.

Lesson: don’t land @ 4:00pm!

All the launches I saw were good.

From the ground it looked like a bullet-proof day. It didn't look like anyone spent any time close to launch level.

Here are ten ordered images to go along with Walt’s and Dave’s reports. Dave, thanks for coming out to help us into the air! As Walt mentioned, it was a good day with all of us climbing in multiple thermals found near launch. I believe that all who launched during the mid-afternoon spent some time above 5,000 ft MSL. Images 2 and 5 show John and Walt, respectively.
