This weekend flying

Post by breezyk1d »

I'm free to fly, retrieve, shuttle, crew this weekend. I'll probably be at Ridgely on Sat if no one is headed for any mountain sites .

If anyone is headed for the mountains, I'd love to try to get in some more mountain launches and soaring too. I'll be calling observers if there is mountain flying available (just trying to give observers a heads up - I always seem to be contacting observers without enough lead time).

As I'm not familiar with many of the sites other than NW, I don't have a feel for which non- NW sites (other than Jack's) are do-able on a falcon (flown by a non-Pete Lehmann pilot or 200 mile-er pilot)

If Jacks looks like it might be just right for Sunday, then I'll probably want to head for Jacks.

I'm bringing Susie out to Ridgely for a tandem at noon, so I'm going to fly in the morning/early afternoon.
