This thread is about Smithsburg, not Woodstock, not the Pulpit. Start a separate thread about flying at Woodstock. I'm looking for pilots that want to spend some time getting multiple takeoffs and landings, and get ground handling practice. Bacil

I'm interested in flying Smithsburg, but I won't know until Saturday if I'm available.
Also, I let my USHPA membership expire for three years and all my ratings expired, so I need to talk to someone about getting some signoffs.

How were conditions Bacil, and were there multiple flights to be had?

Considered SBurg late day, after work stuff, but seemed like it would be pretty strong, couldn't convince myself to head up there.... Hopefully there will be some good practice days still to come this winter!!!

Conditions were west cross to straight up the hill, moderate to strong, with sporty air at times. 2 flights by me, 2 flights by Charley, 2 flights by Anthony, and 1 flight from Peter. A good day at the training hill. Looks like another opportunity may present itself next Sunday before the Super Bowl. Would like to have a lot more company than just 3 pilots. Bacil
