I have secured permission from the Blue Ridge Parkway NPS to conduct a clean up of the Raven's Roost launch this coming Saturday, June 22. We are planning to start at 8:30AM. Only hand tools are allowed for use, no power tools. The goal is to clear a bunch of the brush in the launch area, particularly many of the briars that are present.
Hopefully we'll be done by lunch time or thereabouts and the weather will favor some flights afterwards (for those of us with the permits). If you can come, please let me know.
