Hmmmmm....... I might throw some tools in, and the Falcon on, depending on how things look tomorrow. I have a commitment later that day, would have to be on the road by 4pm. Considering!

As of tonight, Bills Hill is looking pretty good direction wise by 11 am and suitable wind velocity but that gradually increases some as the day goes on. Winds at 2k 12-17 mph as the day goes on and at 4k are around 20 mph. Probably our best bet for flying this weekend. Comments?

4 HGs flew at Bill's Hill today. One PG kited near launch but it was a little too strong for taking off. We did do site maintenance beforehand and as always it could stand more of it. Mark cut a good sized tree down on the right side using a bow saw. Go Mark and thx for hanging around getting me airborne!!!! The farmer was cool with landing in the primary but would rather us use it after August. 2 HGs went XC. We all coordinated with radios and cell phones and made it back to our vehicles OK. Overall, there were very nice conditions. I stayed up for about 1 hour 45 minutes cruising the ridge between 70 and Waterfalls Gap with a little thermaiing for practice.

Here is the video I made of the 6/8/19 flight at Bill's Hill I made for the farmer, in whose field I landed. Note the sideways carabiner, not a good thing. Gotta check that on preflight.....

Randy's side way carabiner. You might want to take a strip of duct tape around the bottom of the carabiner where your harness line attaches to help prevent that from happening.
