Looking possible at either the Pulpit or Woodstock. I am hoping others are interested.

The due-N and NNW surface forecasts didn't seem very promising yesterday... But OTOH, I didn't check any _actual_ readings this morning. So really interested to know what you found up there today John!

Yah, Mark it was light NNW today so not sure if McConnelsburg would have worked for ridge lift but the thermals were fine and even with the light wind there was great streeting. I got "stuck" helping with an instrument install on a new (old but actually new to the owner) sailplane today but Tom Jones (some of you remember him from the early HG days) offered me a late day spot in his 2-place glider. CB was only about 5K MSL but lift was plentiful and we ran streets without too much turning for an hour. Would have been a good HG day if you could have caught an elevator shortly after launch...

If you looked at the report from the weather station you would have seen that it was mostly WNW at the Pulpit today generally 8 - 12 mph at launch pad. Multiple PG flights were had from the 4 pilots (Tom, Krista, Jim, me) with multiple XC's from some. I am the only one who did not go XC though I could have at one time but enjoyed my flight and flew out in the valley over the golf course. Tom made it to past 81 on one flight. Driving home around 4 pm the clouds and sky looked great for xc. HG could have done fine.
