Pulpit on Wed 10/3
A number of pg pilots including myself are planning on flying there. The forecast looks fairly good starting about 2 PM and could also be decent for HG.

Looking great right now at Holfuy Pulpit.
Having a tree company trimming a tree today, planned for weeks. To bad, can't make it.

Re: Pulpit on Wed 10/3
The Holfuy readings were misleading. It was fairly windy around 1-2 pm and crossing a lot from the right. It continued crossing a lot from the right for the next few hours and the velocity decreased some though there were some better direction cycles. It improved quite a bit starting around 4:30. XcSkies was off on speed and direction today. There were a lot of aborted launch attempts today especially 2:30 - 4:15. Some pilots did multiple flights and a few did one flight. I launched about 5:10 when conditions had improved and had a nice half hour flight. Most other flights were extended sleds or a little soaring. Wind was definitely cross from the right during flight. When I left at 6:20, Josh and Felix were planning on doing another flight before sunset.

From a HG standpoint, was it flyable for HG?

Yes it was flyable for HG and the cross at launch would have been less of an issue. The last 2 pilots that flew (6:30 pm) said it had turned into a glass off.
