Good news — for those awaiting return of your signed permits for DR/HB flying in SNP, some of those should start flowing back to you today by email.

More good news — for anyone who has 1) received and signed their permit and 2) returned it to SNP and is 3) still waiting for their returned “fully executed” permit with the SNP signature, YOU CAN FLY. We’re calling this a “temporary approval” or an “interim permit” situation and we’ve got agreement with SNP that this is good enough for you to fly. You should still go through the process of getting final signature and the fully approved permit.

It would be nice if we can get applications processed by Jan 1, 2019 so we can fly for the entire year. That was what the old system provided if you filed you application in November each year.
