Azores, PT - flight report & video

Post by smurfsky101 »

Spent the last week in the Azores, made a fun little cut - thought I'd share with you all :)

Some of the most relaxing, easy, and beautiful flying I've had the pleasure of experiencing.

Freaking beautiful place to fly! Cloudbase looks pretty low, easy to reach! Looks fun.

Thank you for sharing the video. It seems that you have enjoyed the trip. The landscape looks very bucolic. I am glad you are enjoying your PG. Did not you want to bring your new HG baby along with you?

Definitely not many places to launch or land - not as easy for a HG as say, Lanzarote. The land slopes at a moderate level (maybe 10:1 ?) all the way to the sea (with rock beaches) at most sites

Maybe on a single surface
