PG Flying this w/e?

Post by Rich E »

Hi folks,

Wondering if there is going to be any PG flying this w/e? Just back from an extended stay down in TN where I got my P2, 57 mtn flights, 35 hrs of airtime and the following special skills: FL, FSL, HA, RLF, RS and TUR. Flew a variety of wings from A (Bolero) to High B (Advance IOTA) and flew XC. Currently flying a DHV1-2, Firebird Spider.

Really looking forward to flying the local sites, will be a different perspective from my HG.
Please do get in touch!

All the best

Rich, we're all headed to Ediths Gap. It's an early site so plan to arrive early to walk the LZ and be ready to launch early. Several of us have dreams of following Tom on another big XC! Give me a text in the morning and we'll sync up.

It was working nicely for the PG pilots yesterday at EG. My wife and I stopped by around 4:45P on an anniversary weekend (30th) for a hike to Kennedy Peak. Tom and Matt had just returned from an XC to Woodstock, and George and Peter were staging after XC (George) and tandem (Peter) flights. Another pilot launched and sledded. It then glassed off and George, Peter, and Tom (3rd flight!) were rewarded with butter smooth lift. My wife and I didn't make it all the way to the Peak but we saw 2 3' black rat snakes on the trail.
