HG : Your support for High Rock is needed!

I realize that there's already a sticky related to support for High Rock and for Emma-Jane, but I'm posting a new topic as a much-needed reminder : High Rock and Emma-Jane (the landowner) need your support!

If you, like me, typically flew the site at least 10 times per year "back in the day", and made a donation in appreciation of being able to fly such a unique site.... Then you know that you were contributing at least $100 bucks which helped to keep the site open. And maybe even $200 if you were kicking in a bit extra, right???

Sadly, this year, Emma-Jane's son passed away in his early 50's. Randy had been the one who helped Emma-Jane through some really tough times (her own illness, and the passing of her husband Harry some years back).

So if you have an appreciation for High Rock, and would like to help keep the site open to flying....

Particularly this year, it's 40th anniversary...

Then I urge you to think about that typical $100, and to consider a contribution along those lines. And perhaps even a bit more, if you can, to help defray the costs of Randy's funeral. This really came out of the blue for the Carbaughs, so it's not like there were funds set aside for those costs.

It's really easy to make a contribution. Simply go to :

Then click on the "Donation" button near the bottom of the page. Bump the "Quantity" field up to 10 (or whatever), and then hit one of the check-out buttons. Provide your credit-card or Paypal info, and *poof*, you are done.

I'm the world's worst procrastinator, but I've finally done this.... And if you want to be sure that your contribution is allocated to High Rock, then simply send a follow-up email to Krista, the CHGPA treasurer:

Or, you can use the "Instructions to Seller" box that comes up during the PayPal payment process, and mention what your donation is for.

That's it, and done for me. Hopefully other procrastinators will follow suit!
