Looks like the place to be will be Highland this weekend, Saturday is looking really good, the jury is still out for Sunday. The HC gang will be there with all of the usual antics on Saturday night. Come out and fly the task with us

I'll also be at Highland this weekend! I can't wait to hang out with the usual suspects. If Messina says the usual antics will be had on Saturday night that's a good tell tale for some cedar bonfire action! In true tradition I will cook something Saturday night, menu still to be determined. Hopefully you all get some good flights - and who knows, maybe I'll take to the sky as well.
Looking forward to a wonderful weekend.

Great day at Highland AGAIN!

Two flights-- first one a half an hour-- sinking out with Mark as the sky clouded over.

Sun came out just after we landed-- the Charlie Comp pilots launched and it was back into the air. Got 2.5 hours-- most of the time up at cloud base (6K) with Mark, John M., Steve K. and Charlie (Dunegoon). A few pilots from Hyner were there too enjoying the great conditions. Everyone flew and had a great time.

Hope Sunday turns out to be as nice for the comp.

Great fun at Highland! Up to 6K and almost 2 hours. Cold hands + empty stomach/probability of cold beverages = land. Fun long final glide in smooth air. Got to fly with the big kids. Hopefully Mark will provide his usual detailed debriefing. :D
