Arsenal of Democracy Flyover

Post by XCanytime »

I know this is quite late notice but tomorrow is the 70th anniversary of V-E day and there is planned a flyover of vintage WWII aircraft at 12:10P in Washington, DC. The aircraft are taking off tomorrow morning from Culpeper and Manassas Regional Airport and flying to a staging point 10 miles west of Leesburg to line up in separate formations and fly down the Potomac River to the Lincoln Memorial and down the Mall. I plan to get up early tomorrow and drive to Manassas Regional Airport and see the aircraft parked there then find a nice place on the Virginia side of the river to see the formations as they head SE towards DC. On Saturday at the Dulles Annex (Udvar-Hazy) many will be on display from 10A to 3P. Bacil
