Friday Flatland Flying

Post by Paul Tjaden »

Seems to be a very confused weather pattern but I'm starting to feel pretty good about flying at Highland tomorrow. Winds should be 5 to 10 from the west on the ground and 10 to 15 at altitude. Huge lift and high cloudbase are forecast so a run to Slaughter Beach on the Delaware Bay should be doable. Jump a couple of streets to the south and a longer flight to the "REAL" beach between Cape Henlopen and Rehobeth becomes VERY feasible.

Lauren and I plan on being set up and ready to fly by no later than 1:00.
Come join us!

I'll be there sometime late morning ... no XC for me, but VERY happy to get off Terra Firma for awhile!
