Four of us flew today. For three of us, including me, it was a significant extendo with enough lift to tease us. The fourth got up and chose to come out and land when conditions got too rough to be comfortable on a PG. The three of us who launched and landed a few minutes before him did not experience these deteriorating conditions. We drove back up to give launch a look before deciding to call it a day. We called it a day after seeing somewhat stronger prevailing conditions on launch punctuated by substantial gusts. The prevailing winds were probably 10-12 or so by then. This was at approximately 4:00.
I think these conditions would have been nearly early spring ideal for experienced HG pilots. Springtime conditions were in the air.
