Well let's try again. Maybe this Sunday we'll get some airtime. Bacil

Next weekend looks way cold. The amount of snow expected overnight has been downgraded. I am game for a PM flight tomorrow at the Pulpit. Anybody else? Sunday looks good early also, but tomorrow PM I'm shooting for. Bacil

Hmmmmm.... Trying to decide how desperate for airtime I really am...

Seems like there will be W or WNW until noon at the Pulpit tomorrow, and without the gust factor of today. Temps in the mid-30s (valley). Perhaps low enoug to mitigate (wing) icing concerns if the snow starts early... But shoveling would be needed, and a good turnout of motivated air-hungry pilots.... Do we have that?

The window of opportunity was missed yesterday. Blowing NW @ 5 MPH at HGR most of the afternoon until it ramped up to WNW @ 14 MPH (strong to blown out) around 3:30P. If one had been set up and ready they may have been able to get into the air before it got out of hand on launch. However it would have been only one or at best 2 pilots geared and ready to go that would get into the air while the rest would have had to wait until a "lull" occurred. Bacil
