Austin had the flight of the day and a new personal best flying all the way to Berryville - 39km = 24miles!

I didn't go as far and almost lawn darted after going OTB, but found a ripper thermal over the huge transmission power lines and fought hard as hell to stay in the 2-3m/s core. I topped out at 1800m = 5900 ft msl and noticed a wispies forming over my head. I then flew to the clouds that were over the blue ridge, but missed the cycle. I got low and decided to land next to the winery for an easier retrieve and managed to hitch 2 rides back to Manasass and made it home for a birthday party.

Tom, Thomas, and Ben all took a second flight and Tom reported that thermals were still really working after 3PM.
