Smithsburg status

Daniel Broxterman and I went out to Smithsburg yesterday and had a good workout with light swithchy but predominantly NW wind. There is a crop at the top and in the LZ. The sign said "open" but, not being farmers, we felt like we should not be trampling it any more… - Hugh

I spoke with Eddie yesterday and one of my students went by as well and Hugh & Daniel flew there recently. All report the crop is getting to the point that we should not be trampling it. The sign will probably be turned this weekend to closed. Thus we should consider it CLOSED at this time.
