Rocketry Launch Activities Near Ridgley This WE

I guy I work with is into big rockets and the local club is setting off a number of big vehicles this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Launches start at 10:30 am and go past 5:00 pm.I'm going to go check it out on Saturday.

Anyway perhaps anyone looking to fly Highland this WE should be aware of this activity about 10 miles due north of KRJD. It's pretty much on a line and midway between KRJD and Massey.I thought this event should be NOTAMed but can't find a published one. Way back in 1999 we had some interaction with the big rocket club Maryland Tripoli on the Eastern Shore. (By interaction, I mean a couple of our pilots flew right over the active launch area.) I was working with a member of Maryland Tripoli at the time, and wrote an article that was featured in both our CHGA newsletter and their club newsletter.
