Edith's Gap Sunday 4/6

Post by mingram »

Waiting in Manassas to carpool with Tom and Peter (who's bringing his tandem wing as well). Headed to Edith's gap launch. Eta noon. Meeting Jeff and his dad - our retrieve driver!

Tom and Jeff did a little triangle and went OTB. Austin got high. Most everyone else yoyo'd to 1000 over. Launching in the right cycle was key. I took 3 flights. The last two were extendos.

Matt's being modest. There are some pretty big XCs being pulled off from the Edith's Gap launch. Some intrepid HG pilot is going to wind up flying to Cumberland or the Pulpit before long. Who will it be?
