First, thanks to Felix and to all for the excellent discussion of Felix's "top landing" at Bill's. Useful to remind us all re: launch and flying speed, in addition to nose angle to ridge and other wise counsel. I can use brush-up all-around-the-block but I also always felt I had a strong, aggressive run & launch. Still, a lapse or whatever and I mushed a takeoff not long ago, luckily on a training hill. A good reason to get back first to a practice slope. Anyone interested in the SW call and Taylor tomorrow? I'll probably only head out if I have company, and try to go early-ish. John (703/938-0735)
