Hello everyone,
I'm a new paragliding pilot (since 4 july last year). I'm looking for a good place for kiting. If there was the chance of practicing reverse launches (without actually getting airborne) that would be great too. So perhaps near the bottom of a training hill somewhere would be great. I live in Annapolis. You would think with all the water around it would be easy to find some very laminar air but apparently I'm not looking in the right places. I don't mind ridding my motorcycle a few hours to get a good session in. It's the only thing standing between me and a P2.
P.S. I'm joining the group as soon as I can but the internet sign up isn't working.
Thanks
George

Laminar air-- in the mid-Atlantic?
Best laugh I've had in days.
You can try kiting at Colmar Manor park in Bladensburg.

You can also kite on the other side of the bay bridge at Highland Aerosports--

Or at Smithsburg training hill for a couple of more weeks -- until the crops are planted. Directions and site info are in the site guide.
