Woodstock Saturday Feb. 9th

So far NNW and above 40. Not bad if it stays that way. If so will look for a PM flight after work. Any others interested? Bacil

Bacil texted me today to say the Woodstock Tower Road is closed according to VDOT. Looks too strong anyway.

I just checked with VDOT and Woodstock police and they are both reporting Woodstock Tower Rd as open.....but it looks like it will be wind fest out there until who knows when......could get nice by this afternoon.......and could not.

I think I am going to head to Smithsburg and work on some ground handling low on the hill if anyone is interested. I'll probably be arriving around 1pmish. Starting a new thread on this. If you do head to Woodstock and it is nice...please feel free to give me a call :D

I have just received a message from Baciil. The road is open, however, he is not going to.
The weather seems to be better by 3:00pm, however, I cannot go if I do not have an observer :(
anyone?

And looks like it did go nice 3P+. Readings have been NNW and max of 10 MPH. Bacil
