The Capital Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (CHGPA) will be celebrating the holidays at our annual Christmas Party! This year, Mathew & Karen have graciously offered to open their home in Takoma Park for the festivities.

All are welcome to attend, especially new pilots and new club members! This will be an excellent opportunity to meet pilots, learn about sites, talk with HG/PG Observers, and make some friends. Kids are welcome too!

This is a pot-luck, so please bring a main dish, side dish, or dessert to share. The club will provide a limited selection of beer/wine.

This will be a good chance to renew your membership and we'll have a brief gathering to share a few brief bits of club business:

I'm afraid we don't have any holiday lights outside or a xmas tree inside, but we'll still be festive and no tree just means more room for guests!

We will move our cars across the street into our neighbor's driveway. So first come, first serve can park in our driveway.

If spaces fill up at the top of the hill near our house. -- park at the bottom near the intersection and walk up the hill

We will have the hot tub fired up-- so bring your bathing suit if you want to soak.

Thanks to everyone who came out last night. People were especially generous this year and there is tons of left over food. There are also a lot of food containers, pretty baskets, etc. If anyone wants to claim any of it please let us know and we'll do our best to return as soon as we can. And thanks to whoever gave us the great flying Santa ornament. Apologies for not thanking you in person.
