MPG
After spending 4,000 ongasoline in the past year and 2,000 on fuel oil I decided the oil conglomerates were bleeding me a little too heavily and traded my 4liter push you back in the seat when stomping on it hang vehicle for a honda civic hybrid, after 500 miles the average mpg is 47.3. That's at least $200 after payroll deduction dollars in my pocket every month.Big Oil "Kiss MY Ass!" The only drawback is at the moment I have nothing to haul my glider with, will take the tonneau off my F150 and use the stake pockets and 2X4s to make a it'll have to do glider rack. I guess I'll have to fly closer to home for a while to make the trade work. I thought I saw Pulpit West@10 late sunday, anybody else stumble across the same weather report? Rich Bloomfield
Re: MPG
Rich,
The last three vehicles I've bought cost $600, $600, and $521. With those prices, you can get pretty creative with a HG rack. IE, I can go to the point of drilling holes in my hood and NOT devalue the vehicle much. In fact, I affect the value of my vehicle up to 5% just by having a full tank of gas in it.
Rance (currently building a removable PVC rack on my 90' Honda Accord)
