Arrived at launch 5:30ish on Friday. Had been a bit breezy though a few had flown earlier. Even with it being breezy at 5:30 pilots were not getting much lift but it gradually got better. I launched hg at 7:05 into good lift and got above and flew for about 35 min. I think that was the longest flight of the day though a number of pilots did get a bit of soaring in. Saturday started with some cloud dives and was light winds and some cloud cover that expanded over the valley. A lot of sleds and extendos but around 5:00, Mike flying his pg found some lift out by the point and started climbing. A number of hg pilots joined him in that area and got a bit of soaring. This lift period lasted 30 - 45 minutes and Bob Beck got the hg fod. I caught the tale end in a F3-170 and extended my flight to 15 min. Earlier, I had done a pg sled. Sunday started with rain but that passed and most headed home. Winds were light, cross or over the back or calm. After going for walk on the rail trail with Marney we went back up and Jeff Harper did a couple of sleds late afternoon when it was calm. Drizzle this morning and expected SE so came back missing traffic problems.
