Highland worked great today. I got my fill and 6800 over. It was nice and cool up there. Little wind to speak of but mostly West at 5 to 10 aloft. Not the 9000 cloudbase promised by XC Skys but a great day. Danny Steve Kingsly and Rich were there and some others I didn’t recognize. The funny part was when my rear wheel came off on launch and I didn’t know it. When I landed Sunny Adam and Bob came out on the golf cart like it was a fire truck. I just slid in on my butt and barely noticed.

I am sorry I missed a great day at Highland. I am juggling the kids by myself while my wife is gone for a week with work. We will be excited for mom to get back!

I joined RIch at Blue Sky on Saturday, taking two late afternoon sleds from the truck. There was just no lift anywhere. Paul came near to his record, getting six flights. Chris D was there, as was Peter K, who took his friend Susan on a mid day tandem. Lisa came out to fly the tug.
