Pulpit Weekend

Post by XCanytime »

Sizing up to be a spectacular Pulpit weekend. West is predicted all weekend. I plan to be there late on Saturday and first thing in the morning on Sunday. Bacil

Saturday afternoon DOES look nice! I hope to be there.

Right now nostepper reports winds aloft (above 1700 feet) look to be blowing a bit much on Sunday morning (over 20 kts), but that could change.

I'm starting to see some indications of stronger conditions for the weekend.... The Woodstock NWS surface 'cast for Saturday is currently WNW 10-15G25. If that holds, conditions might be too strong for The Pulpit. No intent to jinx things, just suggesting that we should wait and see how strong the front turns out to be, and how quickly it moves through.

Yep they've bumped the min/max up 5 MPH and the direction has switched 22.5 degrees to the north which means Woodstock Saturday is a possible choice. Bacil
