San Mateo (Manila) launch site

Got a chance to fly an honest 300 meter/1000 foot mountain right on the outskirts of Manila. Bit of an adventure navigating through some neighborhoods to get here. Landowner has caused some brush clearing to be done, but through a misunderstanding, a workman was digging a foundation for a "parawaiting hut" right in the middle of the launch site. We tried the well-established communications technique of speaking English louder and slower while gesticulating broadly, but it didn't seem to work. Had a couple short flights; big welcoming committee in the LZ, some asking about Ian, a local TV actor who flies. I told them my TV show has bigger ratings than his... - Hugh

Site should be easily usable for HG as well as PG. The LZ has rice paddy walls/terraces and high grass, but, hey, I'm flying a Falcon!
