Hang Glider Pilots WANTED!!!

Post by Lostgriz »

Pilots,

As of Sunday the ECC was off. It is now on life support, if we can get a few more pilots to register and pay ASAP (in the next day) this even will go on as scheduled. Come join me in the Sport class, its only $425 for a great week of flying, learning and hanging out with great people. Please read below and register. This isn't just for the Pros........

All,

For those of you who don’t already know the ECC is on verge of being cancelled. On Sunday it was officially canceled but is now back on the fence. So far 100% of the open pilots in the weekend meet are signed up and paid. However we only have 1 of the sport pilots from the weekend meet flying in the ECC.

We really need your support. Getting the top guys to fly meets is difficult, unreliable and changes the dynamic, however this meet can survive and grow if we have a strong sport class i.e. a true regional meet. I’m very worried that if the ECC doesn’t happen this year the odds it happens in the future will be much less.

This is hands down one of the best meets in the U.S. for the following reasons:

· Great flight park (staff and facilities)

· Landing fields and no locked gates (no farmers with shotguns)

· Low stress flying

· Training ground for bigger meets

· Best pilot community for learning

· Inexpensive (most meets are $700-800 tows +registration, versus $500 for ECC) and camping available

· Scheduled during the best part of the year from a weather perspective (Adam has looked at 10-15 years of historical weather patterns to pick these dates)

· Etc., etc., etc.,

Even if you can’t make everyday please consider flying both weekends and taking 1-2 days off work during the week.

Also please encourage other pilots to sign up.
