Bacil, et al.
Today I received mail from xcanytime with no subject. It was sent to half a dozen addresses, and was a short, basic spam ad.
I am guessing others on the list got the same mail.
While Bacil should go ahead and scan his PC again, this is to let everyone know that the spambot may not be on his computer - it may well be on someone else's who has his address in their contact list. Many of the spambots mine the infected system's mail contacts for addresses, but use one of those for the FROM line, so as not to give away which computer the bot is on.
In this case, one of the other adddresses is batmanh3, so it is likely to be another pilot whose PC is soiled.
Welcome spring time and happy flying!

I also received the spam e-mail from Bacil, but it looked suspicious right out of the gate so I deleted it without opening it first.

Sorry for the spam. Apparently my AOL account got hacked. I was called on the phone yesterday shortly after the spam was sent by one of the recipients. Problem should be fixed. Bacil
