Saturday Kiting

There is an excellent S-facing shallow sloped field near Myersville MD, where I'd like to go this afternoon, weather permitting.

Anybody wanna go kiting?

Andy and I kited for an hour or so this afternoon at the "Half Pint Farm" near my house. The kiting area is a large field on a shallow-sloped hill. Winds varied from 10 to 15 with occasional higher gusts. It was fun and great exercise.

Occasionally the air was bouyant enough to permit short flights. I knew it was time to quit when I was lofted to about 40' agl.
