Though the forecast was similar to Saturday's, it turned out to be quite good! In fact it was probably one of the best days there this year with temps near 70 and smooth winds 3 - 7 mph until around 3:30 when it got quite light. I had a small class with 3 students so I got to do a number of flights also. Andrew who is working on his hang 2 got to do turns and spot landings and passed his 3 spot landing requirement. Karl, who hasn't been flying for quite a while and is a hang 1 had a number of good flights. James was a first timer and with the good conditions did extremely good for a first day. As we started to end our flying, Steve K arrived and did a few forward pg launches in very light conditions.
Teaching this year has been very poor and Silver Wings is going to have a big loss but it sure warms the heart when I have a really good training day.

Glad to hear it worked out to be a good day. Would hate to see anything happen to Silver Wings.

I feel your pain John. No better up my way. Been getting skunked the past few times I've tried to get out to conduct a class. Glad to hear you had a good day.
