A stellar day at Calvert Cliffs. But you have to be there early! Pete and I arrived around 8:00 and it was cranking. We would have arrived earlier, but there was lots of contruction on the beltway where they cut traffic down to a single lane. That creates quite a back up, even at 6:00 a.m. We quickly set up but had to wait a while for others to show up. I flew for 1 1/2 hours before landing to get back home early. Max was 695' over but spent a lot of time 400-500 over chasing birds. Another good day! Lots of others had good flights, but I will let them tell their story.

As Tom wrote "a stellar day at Calvert Cliffs". Mark C. showed up and we launched Tom then Mark helped me to launch off.

Initially after launching I was below launch for a few scarry passes. Slowly I got up and had a 2 hour flight. I landed on the grass beach area south of the launch near where Tom landed. I didn't get above 450' and for most of the flight was at 200-300' above launch. More work then last time we flew here in Septemebr but still a ton of fun.

Mark C., Steve K., Gary S. and Skip B. also flew.
