Big Spring

Post by lbunner »

If anyone has been on the fence about going to Big Spring next week, I can only say, "jump on board and go". The conditions are going to be epic, with super high cloudbases and 7 days of flying. It is conceivable that you will get 25+ hours of flying for the week. Gary Osaba is recommending that we bring oxygen this year as cloudbases even up in Kansas have been as high as 18000'! Wow, at a flatland tow site? I'm going to get me some!

BTW, will there be someone I can buy a bridle from (lost 2 this year) at Big Spring? I already have the barrel releases, just need the rope.

I would order one from Davis with a pickup at Big Spring. You have to bring what you may need. We can make a bridle if need be.

See you there.
