I am heading up to the Rock to fly after work on Thursday. Maybe some other can come out and enjoy what could be a nice evening flight!

I will be there as well. Should be nice. Come out and play. Before you know it the sun will be setting too early for evening flights.

I will be there.
Ps Wednesday at Woodstock was good. I was the only HG. 3k over. PGs Tom C and Lazlo arrived just as I landed about 430 and were up until sundown.

I'd like to join as well ... How does launch work with limited wire support as the folks dwindle up top, and getting the cars out of the park before the gate closes?
I’ve been off of High Rock once while H2 with John Middleton’s support, but I’m not up to speed on the full protocol.
What time are people planning on arriving?

Hey, I'm here and its looking good. Pretty much straight in, gusts up to 15 but backs off to under 10.
Chuck, it generally works out --sometimes have to wait.

Great opportunity to fly this site again (my 2nd time off of the rock). I was a little concerned after watching Dave's launch (slipped turning fall of the edge clipping a tree top before pulling out).
I was the last one off and everyone had launched, so I was left with a dilemma … Do I get a wuffo on wire crew?
Fortunately, Steve Kinsley was hanging around up top, and helped me work with the volunteer. He did OK, once he was willing to step just a bit further out.
I did make a tragic error, and turned to the right instead of the left getting drilled in the sink hole as opposed to catching the steeper rise and lift to the left; so I did sink out; but, all in all, a good opportunity to take another stab at the cliff.

Nice work, Chuck.
Thanks!
Is anyone else also bummed that the concrete of the new steps was hardly dry before locals tagged them with spray paint?
