Appears to me the forum is reset to June 1st. This post is partially a test to see if new stuff can be posted.

Re: Forum reset to June 1?
Problem solved?
There have been numerous documented cases of LF-T syndrome reported in the literature. It's a form of dementia that affects pilots who are desperate for air-time and you guys are exhibiting classic early signs of this horrific illness. Based on your phenotype (not able to read posts beyond June 1) I’m guessing that there’s still hope for you. Heck, I can’t read anything on this forum that was posted after April and I still believe that I can be saved! There’s a Lack of Flying-Time foundation that supports research aimed at cure but I can’t remember their address right now so just make out your check to me and I’ll see that it does its best to solve this mystery (or at least mine).

Yes - there don't seem to be any of the threads that were started Jun 2-6. I'm sure there was at least one - including the photos from the parachute pack. I'm guessing someone is working on this ... but if there is a notice about it I'm missing it.

Re: Forum reset to June 1?
Sigh.
Our web hosting account was "upgraded"/migrated to a new server. The announcement happened when I was in Japan. And then, two days after I got back, I was on the road. Bottom line: I didn't know it was happening, and didn't take the precautions that I normally would have.
As it happened, the "upgrade" wasn't as smooth as they had hoped. Near as I can tell, there was a several-day window in which data (eg: forum posts) were going to the old server. With the switch finally in place, *poof*, posts to the old server disappeared, because an outdated snapshot of our website's content was used for the move to the new server.
We could try to rebuild the forums based on the 06/06 forum-database dump that I have.... But at this point it might be more effort than it is worth. Is it possible that those who created topics that have been lost could re-create them?
Pretty lame situation. We may have to start shopping around for a new provider.... If anyone has knowledge of web hosting providers that can provide: a) Linux-based hosting; b) shell access; c) discounts for non-profits; d) solid support staff; e) MySQL databases, then I would love to hear your suggestions.
