Villa Grove

For non-flying fun with pilots, friends, and family.
Ski trips, Ethiopean-nights, movies, biking, climbing... All that fun stuff you can't do in the sky.

Villa Grove

Post by Spark »

Villa Grove is a site in Colorado, near Salida. I stopped by to visit Mike Chevalier yesterday and got a chance to see the site. Although several pilots were ready, the winds were too cross and too strong to allow any flying. After we left Villa Grove, Mike provided a tour of an old mining town named 'Bonanza' in the Saguatch range across the valley. That was an adventure in itself ... high-altitude 4-wheelin' through snow drifts and spectacular views.
