Nasty. Gusts to about 18 mph. Seven sad faced students as I finally said "uncle" and packed it in. Direction mostly NW with some N in it at times. But....it would die off from about 18 in peaks to about 2mph and then pop back up again. Gnarly. Ended up taking the herd up to High Rock on a sightseeing tour. Ironically...conditions on the ramp were not as bitchy. Peak about 22 on ramp. Otherwise...straight in and not so gusty. Weird. Mark from Philly was there at Smithsburg. Super nice guy. Has a Falcon 2 tandem and a Airwave F2 but didn't get a chance to fly. Was at the MHGA meeting too.

Re: Smithsburg Saturday
Certainly a gorgeous day otherwise. I hope we get some of those faces back soon.
Friday was a much nicer Smithsburg day. It was good to be back there.
Did you happen to see a fingerless glove? lol
