Hi Jon! Any chance of tracking down more PG events that our area pilots are likely to be interested in, and adding them to your list?

Local pilots who might be able to make suggestions include Tom C, Ellis K, Hugh M, and Ben & LE .

I think your idea of a comprehensive list is EXCELLENT! If you're willing to put some additional work into it, then I bet that it will see
even more views.

Mark I would love to be able to add some more paragliding stuff to the list. To be honest I don't know much about where they post their stuff. I got most of these dates from various hang gliding forums, being down at Quest and our own local forums. If one or some of the PG pilots or bi-wingal people have some good links to stuff I would love to add it and make it a more comprehensive list.

Hey Jon,

You might want to start with a Google search for "paragliding competitions 2011" . The hard thing will be to identify those that are most likely to be of interest to Region IX pilots. Perhaps a PG pilot would be willing to volunteer to provide that sort of feedback, so that Jon's list can be more comprehensive???

(BTW: That's a shameless call for a collaborative effort.... How about it, anyone willing to step up?)
