Sunday's forecast looks promising by February standards (both wind and temp). If it doesn't change, I'll be there around noon.

Re: Pulpit, 2/6
Compared to earlier forecasts (this morning and afternoon), current predictions are looking good for soaring at the Pulpit on Sunday. If conditions hold, I'll be there around 11.

If it looks like there will be a doable window between the AM strong stuff and the SW switch in the afternoon, I might give The Pulpit a try. Either that, or perhaps a training-hill day, will see....

Ward called with the news that the Pulpit is un-flyable : an ice-storm got the top 500' of the ridge, and everything is heavily glazed over. He's walking around on the ice that has fallen from the trees, in order to traction on the ice on the ground.
Now I really have no excuses for ducking out of a t-hill day
