Agenda : Uh...full face helmets? Just kidding.
Not completely - it seems like folks can go both ways on whether we should
try to "enforce" this. So here's an idea: since people who DO wear full
face helmets suffer the handicap of reduced peripheral vision and heavier
head gear, maybe we should give them a 20% bonus on XC distance at the
fly-in. That way we're not stopping anyone who drove 500 miles from
flying, but still getting the safety point across. Would that make
everyone comfortable?
I don't like legislating common sense, but we could gently nudge it.
