Broke my 18 month hiatus from flying today. Swapped my T-2 for a Sport 2 and got back on the horse. God, family, and work all conspired to give a longer than wanted break from the sport. Now that things have changed the bug has bitten again in a big way. I'm BAAAACK! Looking forward to making up for lost time Flight crew consisted of Tom, Gene, Rodger I (from NC) and myself. Nice warm temps but a shear layer about 600ft kept the thermals to small unorganized bubbles. Flight of the day went to Gene with about a 20 min extendo late in the day. I had a couple good flights on the Sport 2 enjoying the ease of flying a low perf glider again.
