Smithsburg 3/7

I went to Smithsburg on Saturday wondering if there was still snow and/or muddy conditions in the field and expecting a bit of left cross. Almost all of the snow was gone only minimal amounts in a few areas and not particularly muddy either! My 3 students and one other pilot (Matt Wilkins) arrived and we got set up and commenced flying in mostly straight in 3-10 mph winds and occasional left cross. Wonderful temps and a very nice flying day there! I even did 7 flights with students getting 7-10 flights each. Nice to get the exercise and back into flying since January.
