I don't know how many you know John Scott. John started flying in 1972 and flew actively for many years. He and his wife Kris were regulars at Hyner even after he quit flying. On Feb. 13, 2010 Kris slipped on ice and fell striking her head. She was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital where she died from her injuries. There is an obituary at http://www.sharonherald.com/fullobits/l ... 11538.html
I would appreciate it if someone would forward this news to members of the Hyner Club as many of them knew John and Kris Scott.
thanks,
Larry

Re: sad news
That's sad news indeed. John is a great guy and was an excellent pilot; mellow, soft-spoken, and just plain good at flying. Kris was a very dear person and was always at Hyner for the Fly-in weekends and comps back in the day.
I'm sorry to hear this.
