Heading back to this thread, for flying today rather than tomorrow....
Looking kind of north for the Pulpit, but High Rock seems doable, with NNW.
But so far, I've only know of Kris and Pete S who say they're interested in
flying today. Need more for the Rock, anyone else thinking about it?

Just another thought. The SAC has already been cleared, thanks to me shoveling for 3 hours yesterday. Many pilots are going there today (Joe and Karen Gorrie, Doug Rogers, Bob Beck, etc.). The launch knob is clear (front and back), there is a path shoveled to the setup area, and conditions are perfect there. Bacil

Ah shoot, I wish I'd had time to look more closely at the 'casts this week,
I might have had the Sac on my radar. Can't do that today, grrr!
Guess I'm going to have to cross my fingers for tomorrow....

I'm at the Fairfield gliderport but am caught up in a project. Conditions here support good conditions at HR. If I can get this project completed soon, I'll head over there.

Arrived at HR at ~ 1:30. Mostly light but enough soarable cycles to make it worth setting up. Unfortunatly the setup area is under 2 ft of crusty snow. There is a clear path from the road to the cube. I could have set up on the blacktop road but the walk up to the cube would have been difficult even with the cleared parth.
The botom step of the cube is now completly unsuported.
