Smithsburg Sunday 1/31

Post by XCanytime »

Looking west and dang cold. Maybe upper 20's max. Some snow on the ground to boot. Lotsa exercise and good takeoff and landing practice.

I plan on getting there around 1:30P. Hoping to get flying by 3P. By that time it should be around 30 degrees. Bacil

Dan, Eddie, and I showed up to a distinct SW cross. Put in the multiple windsocks and streamers and saw one 5 minute period of WNW cycles in an hour and a half of wind watching; the rest of the time it was pure SW. We bolted after 3:15P. Maybe Super Bowl Sunday will work. It's been quite good to us in the past.
