Flying Saturday

Post by Matthew »

Temps in the low 40s and winds predicted to be NW turning North. Anyone up for flying at Crumble Rock?

I could be up. I'm also thinking of sliding down a snow-covered mountain this weekend. Oh, I guess I could do that at HR, too, if I'm not careful! Image

I'm seeing WSW. Maybe a good day to brush up at Taylor Farm?

Hello, I'm new here, currently taking hg lessons from John M of Silverwings. Looks like we might have class at Taylor Farm tomorrow. I hope to fly with you all in good time. :)

With basically L&V everywhere I think the Pulpit might be the best bet today. The bottom half of the field is a mucky mess. I think it's had fertilizer spread across it. Land on top or across the street if you can.

It's probably going to be best for paragliders. My guess is somebody will land in the secondary.

By the way, our old new guy Ward had a great flight and launch, and he's a walking encyclopedia of the early days of the sport in our area.
