I know it's a long shot.... But if the winds are more N than NE on Saturday,
maybe it would be worth a try up at High Rock? Or perhaps Bills, if the winds
are more NE than N?
It's not often that one gets to fly in the snow!
(assuming the temps are low enough to keep the wing dry)

The SAC would be the best bet for Saturday. Not as much snow/better viz and not as strong winds as down this way. Bacil

Ummm... But the idea is more snow, not less!XCanytime wrote:Not as much snow/better viz

If we do get a good snow storm, anyone up for sledding at Smithsburg on SUNDAY??? I've got a snow tube, a disc and two plastic sleds-- if it's windy as predicted, I also have two traction kites.

I could maybe be up for that, depending on how hard we get hit. I could also be up for PGing conditions permitting.

After a foot of snow and still accumulating,
sledding sounds like a good idea.

We've been sledding all day on our hill-- plus digging out and a two hour snowshoeing adventure-- maybe more sledding tonight.
We're getting massages tomorrow.

Looks like a fun day; if I my Jetta and I can make it out of DC tomorrow, I'm game for High Rock and or Smithsburg. Will try to rendezvous with Cav along the way.
Anyone else?
Cheers,
Daniel
